Richard Imenes is currently working as a database administrator and has done so since 2010. He has worked with SQL Server from 2000 to 2019 and are involved in quite a few things from planning, installation, configuration of instances to operation and troubleshooting when stuff goes awry.
Since he has received a lot of support and help from the SQL Server Community in the years he has been working with databases and he thought that it was about time that he gave something back, even if the ulterior motive is a bit selfish: Have a single place for all troubleshooting stories, scripts and tools that he uses. If someone where to read it and provide improvements, that would be nice, right?
I hope that you find this blog useful, even if the main recipient is myself. Feel free to leave a comment if you find a script particularly neat or have improvement suggestions.
